stomatology surgery, Paris, interior design
The radical choice made by a3dc’s interior architect to break away from and soften the classic rectangular geometry of the reception area of this stomatology practice, located in a very Parisian Haussmann building, was the bold creation of a smooth, supple contemporary curved veil.
In addition to its decorative function, the veil is also cleverly practical, providing an elegant backdrop for the technical and administrative functions, giving pride of place to the atypical design of the reception desk set on a future oval carpet of orange resin. In the operating theatre, the side walls and ceiling surrounding the furniture have been painted a luminous greyish blue, determined by color physiology for its airy, serene aspect, with a view to comforting and soothing patients.
