Manufacture Pequignet, colour study Royal Saphir watch
The Royale Saphir by PEQUIGNET is more than just a watch; it embodies the excellence of fine watchmaking. Powered by the Royal® Calibre from the PEQUIGNET Manufacture, the Royale Saphir represents the revival of exceptional French watchmaking. For its new “Ombres et Lumières” collection, PEQUIGNET called on a3dc, which, through this collaboration, is highlighting the Manufacture, which this year is celebrating 50 years of innovation and watchmaking excellence made in France.
Based in Morteau, in the heart of the French Jura, PEQUIGNET stands out as France’s only haute horlogerie manufacture. Founded in 1973 by Émile Pequignet, this independent watchmaking house sets itself apart by creating watches that transcend conventions and standards. Each watch is designed and manufactured in France in the company’s own workshops.
The Royal Saphir automatic watch, PEQUIGNET’s emblematic timepiece, was previously available exclusively in blue. Thanks to a3dc, it is now available in a new collection of timeless, achromatic colours. For this first series of five models, a3dc has chosen to play with the expression of time brought to light. From the dazzling purity of solar whites, through the subtle nuances of grey shades to deep, mysterious blacks, this collection reveals striking, timeless contrasts. Each model embodies a subtle balance between sophistication, elegance and timelessness, offering watch lovers a unique and refined experience.
This collaboration between PEQUIGNET and a3dc marks a turning point in the history of the Manufacture. By celebrating the nuances of light and pushing back the boundaries of creativity, this “Ombres et Lumières” collection testifies to PEQUIGNET’s ongoing commitment to innovation and made-in-France watchmaking excellence.
